These Delivery Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the delivery services for items rented through the Style Cycle platform. By using our platform and selecting a delivery method, both Renters and Lenders agree to abide by these Terms in conjunction with our General Terms of Service.
Delivery Options
Style Cycle provides the following delivery options:
a. Style Cycle Booked Delivery (Sendle)
Style Cycle will arrange delivery and return using a third-party courier (currently Sendle).
A prepaid label or QR code will be provided to the Lender. The Lender is responsible for printing the label and dropping off the parcel at the designated drop-off point.
b. Lender-Organized Delivery
The Lender may choose to arrange their own shipping. They must include both delivery and return instructions and ensure tracking is available. All costs must be included in the listing or confirmed with the Renter prior to booking.
c. Local Pick-Up/Drop-Off
Where agreed by both parties, the Renter may collect and/or return the item in person.
Style Cycle is not responsible for any issues arising from this arrangement.
Responsibilities
Lender Responsibilities:
- Dispatch the item on time to ensure the Renter receives it at least one day before the rental start date.
- Package the item securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Use the provided label (if applicable) and retain proof of postage.
- Include the return label for the renter
Renter Responsibilities:
- Provide an accurate delivery address and be available to receive the item.
- Notify the Lender immediately if the item is delayed, damaged, or not received.
- Use the return label and method provided and return the item on time.
Liability
Style Cycle is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused during third-party courier delivery.
If a parcel is lost or damaged during delivery booked through Style Cycle, our team will assist in filing claims with the courier. Compensation is subject to courier terms.
For Lender-arranged shipping or in-person exchanges, Style Cycle takes no responsibility for loss, theft, or disputes.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs will be shown at checkout. These may include:
- $15 flat-rate two-way shipping (Style Cycle delivery)
- Custom shipping rate (Lender-organised)
- Free (for pick-up/drop-off arrangements)
Shipping fees are non-refundable once the item has been shipped.
Missed or Failed Deliveries
If a delivery attempt fails due to incorrect address or unavailability of the Renter, the Renter may be responsible for re-delivery costs or late return penalties.
Cancellations and Delivery
Cancellations after an item has been shipped are not eligible for a full refund. If the delivery is delayed due to courier issues, please contact info@stylecycle.com.au for assistance.
